About this Course

The Spring 3-on-3 Hockey League offers a fast-paced, full-ice hockey experience designed to support continued player development following the regular minor hockey season. Games are played in a 3-on-3 format, with three skaters and one goalie per team on the ice at a time, creating a high-energy environment with increased puck touches and opportunities for skill development. All games are officiated by certified referees and supported by volunteer coaches to ensure a safe and positive experience. The program runs from March 31 to May 17, 2026, and concludes with a Spring 3-on-3 Wrap-Up Weekend Tournament May 16 & 17. Teams play one game per week over a seven-week regular season, with games scheduled on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, or Thursdays, depending on registration numbers and division size. The league is offered at Fuller Lake Arena and is open to players in the following age divisions: U9, U11, U13, and U15. Fuller Lake Arena extends its ice season into April and May to provide a fun, accessible spring hockey option for players in the Cowichan Valley. Teams are guaranteed 9 total games, depending on division size and tournament format. The 3-on-3 format encourages creativity, conditioning, teamwork, and confidence in a free-flowing style of play, while the once-per-week schedule offers flexibility for families. Tentative schedules will be available to view online for reference only. Final game schedules and team assignments will be distributed by email after registration closes and teams are finalized.
