About this Course

This free, fun event kicks off with the Youbou parade, which starts at 10:30 a.m. from the Youbou Hall and travels to Arbutus Park. (All are welcome to enter the parade. Marshal at Youbou Hall at 10:00 a.m.). The day is filled with fun activities including the Clarence Whittingham Memorial Quarter Mile Swim, canoe and kayak races, bocce ball, swimming races for all ages, chalk art contest, land games for kids, music in the park, whistle, splash and flip triathlon, watermelon eating relay, lifeguard relay and more. A BBQ concession is available from 11:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. Community organizations wishing to get involved please contact Kyle at kyle.laberge@cvrd.bc.ca
